Today (that’s my birthday), i updated all bpdev plugins. To make them working with Plugin Installer (built-in WordPress since 2.7) i moved all plugins under /plugins as you can see in the download page.

Who is playing with latest trunk of BPDEV Plugins has seen the new plugin BPDEV XMLRPC displayed in the Plugins list.
As you can understand this plugin add XMLRPC Support to BuddyPress, that means that every BuddyPress might have a desktop, mobile, web client to manage his account and his social.

Sending XMLRPC requests, you’ll be able to create new groups, get groups datas, change group descriptions, posting wires.

If you want install this plugin, it’s in the latest trunk but still testing

Hi guys, after long and hard work, today BPDEV-GROUPS-EXTRA Plugin is in BPDEV Plugins Package under SVN! This plugin allows you to add extra fields for groups like for profiles. More info here..

To have this plugin working you’ve todownload and install BPDEV Plugins Package. After as all BPDEV Plugins works, go to WP-ADMIN > BPDEV Admin > Activate BPDEV Groups Extra, after that rename bpdev-groups-extra-config.php.sample to bpdev-groups-extra-config.php and edit the contents as described in the file.

As soon more docs about, this plugin is the result of an intensive work, so donate here and sustain us and Nicola Greco’s developments

In these days i worked on a new plugin: BPDEV Subscribe that allows users to subscribe to a blog and to receive an e-mail (notifications) every time that a new blog post is published.

As soon a page that shows all subscripted blogs for each users will be added,
Thanks to wildrot that has financied this plugin’s creation.

Have you already seen the new searchbox in the BuddyBar? Yes it’s nice, now try to type there “Nicola”.
As you can see, it shows all users that contains the name like “Nicola” and their own avatar in a nice effect.

I was inspired by david bisset and his experiments, i used to do that the plugin WP-AutoSuggest. I’ve a lot of work to do,

After some requests in the BuddyPressDEV Forums to make BPDEV-PROFILE-SIDEBAR working in groups show page, i decided to write this new plugin called BPDEV-GROUP-SIDEBAR, that as you can understand add widget-areas in the single group page.

I’ll test this plugin in few days, so as soon as possible free on BuddyPress DEV.

As someone could see, the wires of BuddyPressDEV groups and profiles have the visual editor TinyMCE. This plugin will make posting wires more user-friendly.

In these days, an italian group, asked to BuddyPressDEV to make them a plugin. The plugin, they requested to BPDEV, is BPDEV-EXTRA-GROUPS. This plugin, as you can understand, adds extra fields for groups. A sort of BP-XPROFILE for groups.

You can see this plugin working in every group created on BuddyPressDEV. Look it working in the BPDEV Official Group.

I’ve just finished this plugin, the work to make that was a lot hard. I think i’ll not release it as free. I’ll update on that as soon as possible. If you need this plugin contact Nicola at BuddyPressDEV: nicola at buddypressdev.org,
