BPDEV Plugins are now under /plugins and not /buddypressdev

Today (that’s my birthday), i updated all bpdev plugins. To make them working with Plugin Installer (built-in WordPress since 2.7) i moved all plugins under /plugins as you can see in the download page.

Announcing BPDEV XMLRPC to add XMLRPC support to BuddyPress

Who is playing with latest trunk of BPDEV Plugins has seen the new plugin BPDEV XMLRPC displayed in the Plugins list.
As you can understand this plugin add XMLRPC Support to BuddyPress, that means that every BuddyPress might have a desktop, mobile, web client to manage his account and his social.

Sending XMLRPC requests, you’ll be able to create new groups, get groups datas, change group descriptions, posting wires.

Too cool to be real?
If you want install this plugin, it’s in the latest trunk but still testing

BPDEV Theme

Customize the standard interface and make it more personal.

When BuddyPress is installed, it has a standard theme on that is the same for all. With BPDEV Theme the site admins will be able to customize some interface aspects, in both the home theme and the member theme. With the BPDEV Admin the website admins are able to change the buddybar logo, the buddybar background, the site logo and some css aspects.

Update: BPDEV Plugins can be translated!

Thanks to Slava AU ( slaffik – http://www.cosydale.com/ ) no BPDEV Plugins have a localization support! It means that downloading the .pot you can translate them in your language!

BPDEV-GROUPS-EXTRA is now in BPDEV Plugins! (SVN)

Hi guys, after long and hard work, today BPDEV-GROUPS-EXTRA Plugin is in BPDEV Plugins Package under SVN! This plugin allows you to add extra fields for groups like for profiles. More info here..

To have this plugin working you’ve todownload and install BPDEV Plugins Package. After as all BPDEV Plugins works, go to WP-ADMIN > BPDEV Admin > Activate BPDEV Groups Extra, after that rename bpdev-groups-extra-config.php.sample to bpdev-groups-extra-config.php and edit the contents as described in the file.

As soon more docs about, this plugin is the result of an intensive work, so donate here and sustain us and Nicola Greco’s developments

BPDEV Subscribe

Allows users to mark a blog as favourite and subscribe to it.

BPDEV Subscribe gives users the ability to mark blogs as ‘favorites’. When a ‘favorite’ blog publishes a new post the user will be notified by the BuddyPress notification system and via email.

BPDEV Search

Extend the websearch to make easier searching friends, groups, events and blog posts.

This plugin is not useful yet, it adds functions to make some plugins working like BPDEV Autosuggest. Now it adds only a search field on the buddybar. (ASAP).

BPDEV Extra Group

Create specific fields for groups to be filled in by the group admins.

When BuddyPress is first installed, groups have only to fields to show: “Description” and “News”. With BPDEV Extra Group the site admin will be able to add more fields to the group profile page. This fields will pop up on the group creation page when a member is creating a group.
