BPDEV Plugins is a set of free plugins, that will extend the features of BuddyPress to a new or existing installation.
BPDEV Plugins are free and licensed as part of the GPL.
You can use these plugins for free, without paying anything. You can download them through the Download page. There you will find simple instructions about their installation. After downloading, we suggest to donate any money to BPDEV to push further the development, carried on by Nicola Greco. He is the only developer, if anything, say thanks to him if you use care.
Functions variables and code to make all plugins working
Not shown in the admin area, this is key to make everything working. It contains functions, filters and actions that are used to make all the BPDEV functional, that's way it's called Core.
Search users, groups and blog posts will be a simple and user-friendly interface.
BPDEV-Autosuggest is a plugins that extends the wide researches of the websites. With it you will be able to search groups, users and blog posts, without refreshing any page. Searching content will yield faster results given that under the search field will appear a preview of your research.
Visual editor to post on groups forums and wires
BuddyPress allows some tags using to post on members wires or on groups forums. In most cases users don't know HTML tags, so this plugin, using a visual editor, will help them formatting.
Activate/Deactivate and configure BPDEV Plugins via the dashboard
When working with BuddyPress, Nicola was thinking about non-developer people that would like to use BPDEV Plugins. Since all plugins have to be installed together, BPDEV Admin would allow you to activate or deactivate the plugins and configure them. This plugin will add an admin panel in the dashboard.
Aggregate YouTube, Flickr, blogs in the own member profile and in groups one.
This plugins is composed of more plugins (like BPDEV-Simplepie, BPDEV-Youtube, BPDEV-Flickr). It allows to users and groups to show their own flickr photos, youtube videos or their posts, forming an external blogs in their profile page.
It allows site admins to create specific groups fields for site groups to fill in by the group admins
When BuddyPress is first installed, groups have only to fields to show: "Description" and "News". With BPDEV Extra Group the site admin will be able to add more fields to the group profile page. This fields will pop up on the group creation page when a member is creating a group.
It adds widget-ready areas anywhere and adds a set of cool widgets
For people that love customizing this is one of the coolest BPDEV Plugins. It adds widget areas anywhere, in profiles pages (profile, wire, aggregator) and groups pages (home, wire, forums). This plugin provides, also, a set of widgets that you can use to customize your interface, like the one in the screenshot.

Customize the standard interface and make it more personal
When BuddyPress is installed, it has a standard theme on that is the same for all. With BPDEV Theme the site admins will be able to customize some interface aspects, in both the home theme and the member theme. With the BPDEV Admin the website admins are able to change the buddybar logo, the buddybar background, the site logo and some css aspects.
Extend the websearch to make easier searching friends, groups, events and blog posts.
This plugin is not useful yet, it adds functions to make some plugins working like BPDEV Autosuggest. Now it adds only a search field on the buddybar. This plugin will be released AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (ASAP).
Allows users to mark a blog as favourite and subscribe to it.
BPDEV Subscribe gives users the ability to mark blogs as 'favorites'. When a 'favorite' blog publishes a new post the user will be notified by the BuddyPress notification system and via email.
